Where Rhythm Becomes Community
Vastrap Sokkieklub brings people together through dance, charity and genuine human connection in Stellenbosch and Cape Town.
Winter is Coming: Sokkie vir 'n Saak Deel 1
Using the power of community to do good is at the heart of the Vastrap Sokkieklub. Winter is upon us, and many people really suffer. To show appreciation for what we have, we decided to collect unwanted winter clothes and shoes for the less fortunate. If you can (it is not an obligation), please go through your cupboards and bring your contribution to our sokkie.

Our Story
Our Story
Vastrap Sokkieklub started as a simple idea: to bring people together through the joy of sokkie dancing, while giving back to the community.

Our Sokkie for a Cause
Every dance makes a difference. Here's how each rhythm contributes to something bigger.

Strandskoonmaak
Every gathering begins with a Strandskoonmaak to protect the places we love.

Seal Rescue Centre
We support the Hout Bay Seal Rescue Centre through donations and awareness.

Tickets with a Heart
A portion of every ticket sale goes directly to charity.
“Marco and his team are welcoming, well organized, easy to talk to, and in general a great vibe. The music was on point, the venue was a good size with plenty of seats. Can't wait for the next one!”

Have Your Dancing Shoes Been Gathering Dust?
That's a sign. They miss the dance floor — and the dance floor misses them.
