Terms and Conditions for Vastrap Sokkieklub

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase of tickets, attendance at events, and use of services provided by Vastrap Sokkieklub. By purchasing a ticket or attending any event organised by Vastrap Sokkieklub, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, including the Privacy Policy contained herein.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending any event organised by Vastrap Sokkieklub, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not purchase a ticket or attend the event.

The purchase of a ticket constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Vastrap Sokkieklub in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and applicable South African law.

9. Liability and Assumption of Risk

  • Voluntary Participation: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and applicable South African law, Vastrap Sokkieklub, its owner, organisers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and the event venue shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, injury, damage, or expense arising from attendance at the event.
  • Exception: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury resulting from gross negligence, reckless conduct, intentional misconduct, or any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Personal Property Responsibility

  • All attendees are solely responsible for the safekeeping and protection of their personal belongings at all times.
  • Vastrap Sokkieklub and the event venue will not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of personal property, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • You acknowledge and accept the risks associated with bringing personal items to a public event.

11. Age Restriction and Minors

  • Attendees must be 18 years or older, or accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Unaccompanied minors will be refused entry or removed.
  • Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for minors.

This policy remains subject to the Consumer Protection Act and other applicable laws.

12. Photo and Video Release

  • Attendance constitutes consent to photography and videography in public event areas.
  • Images may be used for promotional purposes without compensation.
  • Requests to remove media products may be submitted via email or WhatsApp.

13. Refund Policy

Event Cancellation

If cancelled by Vastrap Sokkieklub, a full refund will be issued.

Rescheduled Events

Tickets remain valid. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of notification if unable to attend.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

No refunds for change of mind, failure to attend, program changes, or personal reasons.

Processing Time

Refunds processed within 7–21 business days, where applicable.

Ticket Resale

Private resale is at your own risk. Vastrap Sokkieklub is not responsible for resale disputes.

14. Changes to Terms

Vastrap Sokkieklub reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
